Korea Trip Part 1!

Ok well, gonna summarise a few days of the trip together so it doesn’t take too long, since majority of the time we are just shopping too LOL.
Here’s day 1:

Singapore >> Ho Chi Minh City >> Seoul Incheon Airport >> Myeongdong

HERE WE GO!!

So we took Vietnam airways, food was great actually.
Transit for about 1 and half hour, not too bad.
just that there are no individual entertainment so uh we either slept or watch anime.

first part of the flight was fine, but the later end, I had a hard time sleeping.
So when we finally arrived in Incheon, i felt really shagged LOL.
headed out and it was approximately 10degree. I was just wearing a shirt and jeans. FUG.

anyway, we headed to get our bus ticket to go Myeong Dong.
You can catch bus 6015 outside the arrival hall (1st Floor) of Incheon Airport.
A one way ticket for Bus 6015 from Incheon Airport to Myeong-dong costs KRW 10,000
This ticket can be bought at the ticket booth inside the arrival hall (1st Floor). But we used T-money (something like ez-link card in SG) as it is more convenient.
The bus departs from Incheon Airport to Myeongdong every 20 to 35 minutes. The waiting time is maximum 20 minutes during peak hours. The first bus departs from Incheon to Myeong-dong at 5:35am in the morning while the last bus departs at 10:50pm in the evening.
The journey from Incheon Airport to Myeong dong takes about 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on downtown traffic condition.

Then we arrived, it was a 10mins walk from the bus-stop to our hostel.
The hostel we stayed is called Ibville Guesthouse.
Very very nice place and will definitely head back there again.
For those interested: http://www.ibville.com/

we then headed over to the ODBO shop to get the masks.
THE PLACE IS A PAIN IN THE ASS TO GO BECOS WE STILL GOT LOST EVENTHO WE FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS.
MAYBE IT IS JUST US BUT NOPE, IM NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN LOLOL.
but yes, the easiest way is just take a taxi over.
here’s the address if you need: 1F, 41-2, Seongsan-Dong, Mapo-Gu, Seoul, Korea.
Operating hours: daily from 11am – 6pm

finally wore jacket lol!

random churros!

after that, we headed back to Myeong Dong for lunch and went back to hostel to KO.
Since I didn’t sleep at all, I KO-ed pretty quickly and left Yumi alone TROLOLOLOL.

but yes, moving on to day 2!

Gyeongbok Palace 경복궁 >> Insadong >> Myeongdong

they also have shows of the soldiers from ancient times, marching.

also went in the museum but came out 10mins later because we realised we are not the history type of people TROLOLOL.
anyway after exploring the super huge place, we headed over to Insadong~

38 Gwanhun-dong, Jongno-gu
o Anguk Station, Exit 6. Go 100m straight, then turn left to Ssamziegil mall.
Opening hours: 10.30am – 10pm

tried honey 年糕 but not sweet enough. =w=

then the poo shape pancake LOL.

We also got to try out wearing hanbok and have our pics taken with neopint machine huehuehue.
tho my hair doesnt suit cos it doesnt look ‘traditional’ enuf LOL.

more pics~

at night we headed back to Myeongdong and went to try the Myeongdong Gyoja since it is famous.

o Get out form EXIT 8, just walk for less than 10 meters and take the first left turn to go into the street / alley leading to Myeongdong Gjoya. Go straight for about 30 meters to get to a cross junction. At the junction, go straight (do NOT turn left or right). Myeongdong Gyoja shop 1 is only about 60 meters from the cross junction. You should find Myeongdong Gyoja Shop 1 on your right.
o If this shop is full or the queue is long, you can continue walking along the same street for another 100 meters to get to Myeongdong Gyoja Shop 2. This shop is on your left.

pretty nice but since we kept eating here and there, we were kinda full too.

BUT US BEING THE USUAL FANJIAN US,
we saw roadside store with awesome pajeon and pig intestine, we sat down again to eat.

and that ended our day 2.

Day 3, IS SHOPPING!!

Hongdae Flea Market >> Hongik University >> Sinchon ladies street, Ewha Market >> Jonggak

this is just shopping, eating, shopping and eating.
didn’t take much photo since we were like busy buying stuffs LOL.

breakfast was a mistake as I ordered beef. T.T

then at night, we headed over to KTV.

it was chaotic since the control and everything is in korean.
